Position Overview
Entry-level Machine Operator in a rubber manufacturing environment. No prior experience required, on-the-job training provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate rubber processing machinery (molding presses, extruders, mixers, grinders) under supervision
- Load raw materials and monitor processing cycles
- Inspect finished parts for quality and defects
- Report machine malfunctions to supervisors
- Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation
- Assist with machine cleaning and basic maintenance
- Complete production logs
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
- No prior experience needed, training provided
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable in a hot, industrial environment
- Reliable attendance, strong work ethic
