Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

About the Role
If you’re a hands‑on problem solver who loves keeping machines running and facilities in top shape, this role is right up your alley. You’ll repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and rebuild equipment across the facility — ensuring production stays smooth and downtime stays low. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with right‑to‑hire, offering a strong pathway into long‑term employment.
A Day In The Life
- Observe machines in operation and diagnose issues by sight, sound, and performance.
- Dismantle equipment to access, inspect, and replace defective parts.
- Examine parts for wear, imperfections, and dimensional changes.
- Adjust, lubricate, clean, and reinstall functional components.
- Repair or replace damaged parts and test equipment performance.
- Use welding equipment, machine tools, and hand tools to repair machinery.
- Perform general facility maintenance: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and preventative tasks.
- Initiate material requests for parts and supplies.
- Repair minor electrical issues under supervision of the plant electrician.
- Complete additional maintenance duties as needed.

- Ability to push up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physical environments.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe (preferred).
Pay: $28.97 - $60.82 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
