Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring that all products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, order picking, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. This position requires a strong focus on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $16.30

Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately from the warehouse shelves, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
• Maintain organization within the warehouse by properly storing materials and managing inventory.
• Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Perform heavy lifting as required.
• Keep work areas clean and free of hazards to promote a safe working environment.
  
  

Requirements

• MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 60LBS CONSISTENTLY IN HEAT AND HUMIDITY
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure products are properly labeled and prepared for shipment.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory.
• Load and unload shipments as required.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
