Registered Nurse-RN Unit Manager Schedules & Benefits:
- Schedule: Full-time, dayshift, plus weekend on-call & one weekend per month

- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN may be considered
- Strong leader with 3yrs experience in subacute/long term care a must
- Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the unit assigned.
- Reviews complaints and grievances made or filed by staff. Makes appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing as required or as necessary
- Ensures an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, equipment, etc., is maintained on the unit at all times to adequately meet the needs of the resident and notifies appropriate personnel of needs.
- Experience managing staff, makes nursing/aide assignments, conduct nursing rounds throughout the shift and as needed
- Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
- Assists in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident.
- Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
- Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
- Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
