Infection Preventionist (LPN) Schedule & Benefits
- Schedule: Full-time

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Wound care/infection prevention experience preferred, not required
- Infection Prevention certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a nurse in a long-term care setting
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice
- Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately
- Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
- Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
