As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead the nursing team to ensure clinical excellence during the Weekend:
- Clinical Oversight: Coordinate patient assessments, treatment plans, and physician communication.
- Team Leadership: Supervise staff performance, ensuring compliance with state/federal guidelines and proper medication administration.
- Quality Control: Conduct nursing rounds to track patient progress and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.
- Education: Act as a resource for staff and families to promote best practices in wellness and recovery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the DON and Administrator to maintain seamless facility operations.
- Licensure: Active Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Experience: 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care setting. Experience in palliative or inpatient care is a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership, clear communication, and proficiency with clinical software.
