Responsibilities of Nursing Staff Scheduler:
- Create and maintain staff schedules.
- Maintain records of call outs, tardiness, and early arrivals.
- Maintain communication with HR regarding FMLA, non FMLA leaves, employee resignations, status changes, and other necessary information as it arises.
- Coordinate with HR on employee retention and recruitment process.
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Computer knowledge.
- Experience with staffing schedules.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn new job functions.
- Previous Long Term Care experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous scheduling experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and ADP.
