We are hiring for a Scheduler in our Bloomfield, CT and Mendota Heights, MN locations!
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and defending the project schedule. This role will require working with Project Manager and Operations; supporting project related initiatives as well as providing communications to key internal departments, senior management, management, and all other functions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and maintain construction schedules using Primavera P6in accordance with contractual requirements and company procedures ,
- Perform Weekly/Monthly Critical Path Analysis to identify project risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Attend progress meetings with project team and operations leaders, and advise project stakeholders of progress or project obstacles and potential implications.
- Ability to track down information and to highlight critical needs, so that project scheduling and planning correlates with all other internal project and production activity
- May visit active construction projects to investigate work progress. Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, Look-ahead schedule (level of detail as required by project team), Ganth charts and S-curves for Internal and External stakeholders
- Review and monitor schedules by subcontractors / key suppliers
- Support design, production and site leaders in analyzing required resourcing vs capabilities
- Works with project management and management to develop recovery plans from a time and cost perspective.
- Integrate Change Orders and Time Impact Analyses into the schedule to support EOT claims.
- Understand project documentation and contracts

Educational Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor’s in project management, engineering, construction management, or a related field. Master’s Degree Preferred
Computer System Skills
Primavera P6 is a Must, experience with MS Project, Microsoft Office suite, SAP knowledge
Work Experience
2 years’ experience within the general construction environment, experience using, developing and establishing strong organization skills, Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Other
Experience within the General Contract, Construction, Concrete or Steel construction,
Periodic travel may be required
