Responsibilities of Cook:
- Prepare food according to selected menus and approved recipes.
- Complete the preparation of all food items in a timely manner and assure that all foods meet the required serving temperatures
- Comply with health, sanitation, safety, and food handling standards.
- Adhere to quality and cost containment standards.
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to operate institutional kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of quantity cooking.
- ServSafe certified
- One (1) year dietary/food service experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred
