Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our Kennel facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals under supervision
- Administering medications to animals
- Handle animals safely and securely
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and ordering when necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience in animal care or related field preferred
- Knowledge of dog behavior, pet care, and animal handling techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
