RN Director of Patient Services - Registered Nurse - Certified Home Health Agency CHHA

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Executive Home Care RN looking for a great opportunity for an RN DPS opportunity with a Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA). Qualified candidates will have 5 years of Home Health RN experience, with prior Director level RN experience with a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency and have the drive to excel with a great company! Clinical Operations Leaders with Director of Patient Services, Director of Clinical Services or Clinical Director experience are encouraged to apply! Office located in the Bronx, NY.

RN - DPS

The role of the RN DPS is to implement the operational plan, coordinate all functions of the branch operations, and to ensure Compliance with State & Federal Regulations

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor implementation and evaluate annual Operational Plan.
• Develop, monitor implementation and evaluate annual Strategy Plan.
• Implement marketing activities reflective of goals and objectives outlined in Operational and Strategy Plans.
• Develop annual budgets and projection models and subsequent P&L management.
• Ensure full office staff's knowledge of annual Operational Plan, Strategy, Budgets and Projections.
• Educate staff at all levels of the operations and develop required skill sets of staff.
• Assist with negotiations of local service contracts.
• Implement and monitor all Company policies and procedures
• Adhere to all applicable Federal, State and local regulations, as well as contract requirements, CMS, HIPAA and JCAHO/CAHC standards.
• Hire, train, evaluate, supervise and terminate office support staff
• Implement and monitor terms of any Collective Bargaining Agreement that affects the business
• Ensure appropriate in-house staffing levels are maintained
• Be available for any emergencies that arise On Call.
• Follow Agency policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

BSN & NYS RN License, active & in good standing, required

• A minimum of 4 years of home care experience with a Certified Home Health Agency CHHA, additional experience in Long Term Home Health Care Program, Hospice Program or other health care provider, preferred
• Knowledge and experience with CHHA Quality and Compliance, Clinical Operations, Medicare services
• Served in a position that requires administrative, operational and management responsibilities.
• Ability to use computerized systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulatory requirements, with CMS, JCAHO/CAHC experience, required

Competitive Salary $155,000 - 170,000 & Excellent Benefits!
