The Opportuni
tyWe’re seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join our Import Department. The right candidate will be responsible for preparing, filing, and tracking import entries while ensuring compliance with all U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agency (PGA) regulation
s.

Key Responsibili
- tiesPrepare and file import entries in accordance with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) regulati
- ons.Review and process documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lad
- ing.Classify commodities accurately under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS
- US).Ensure compliance with CBP and PGA requirements (FDA, USDA, EPA, DOT, et
- c.).Coordinate with importers, carriers, and government agencies to resolve entry issues or del
- ays.Maintain communication with clients regarding entry status, delivery, and release upda
- tes.Verify duty rates, valuation, and other regulatory requirements prior to entry submiss
- ion.Manage entry audits, post-summary corrections, and other compliance-related functions as nee
ded.
Qualifica
- tions3 years of experience in customs entry writing or broke
- rage.Strong working knowledge of U.S. import regulations, HTS classification, and PGA requirem
- ents.Proficiency in ABI sof
