Clerical Support
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer Telephone by the 3rd ring and direct calls.
- Meet with persons in services to complete necessary paperwork.
- Monitor, track, and update spreadsheets
- Assist Direct Care staff, with office machines.
- Maintain Knowledge of staff location and communicate person in services needs.
- Special Projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Scheduling appointments for persons in service
- Filing and Scanning
- Insurance verification
- Updating the EMR with accurate information
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be proficient with computer, copy machine and other office equipment. Skills will include use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows. Excellent communication, telephone, organizational; and interpersonal skills are a necessity. Experience in office and health care setting is preferred.
