About the Role
Join a next-generation manufacturing facility supporting advanced AI server platforms. The Technical Trainer plays a key role in building a skilled, safe, and production-ready workforce by delivering effective training to manufacturing and warehouse employees.
This position focuses on hands-on instruction, standard work training, and certification to ensure employees are prepared to operate equipment, follow processes, and meet quality and safety standards.
Position Summary
The Technical Trainer is responsible for delivering and maintaining technical and process training for factory employees. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, and Operations teams to ensure training is current, consistent, and aligned with production needs. The ideal candidate has strong shop-floor experience and the ability to clearly teach processes and procedures to a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver onboarding and ongoing technical training for manufacturing and warehouse employees.
- Train employees on standard work, production processes, equipment operation, tools, and basic troubleshooting.
- Support new hire ramp-up, cross-training, and recertification activities.
- Maintain training records, certifications, and sign-offs to ensure compliance with internal and audit requirements.
- Assist with training for new processes, equipment, or production changes.
- Work with Operations, Quality, and EHS teams to ensure training reflects current SOPs and safety requirements.
- Provide hands-on, floor-based training and coaching across shifts as needed.
- Identify skill gaps and provide feedback to supervisors and leadership.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by helping update work instructions and training materials.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and standard work adherence.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience training or mentoring operators or technicians on the factory floor.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and standard work.
- Ability to clearly explain procedures and demonstrate tasks in a hands-on environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Basic computer skills; experience with training systems or documentation tools a plus.
