Responsibilities And Duties
- Support field construction activities through inspections, documentation, and reporting
- Apply standard engineering techniques and established processes to project execution
- Verify work conforms with approved drawings, standards, and specifications
- Support problem-solving efforts with field teams and design engineers
- Participate in safety and quality meetings; assist with material verification and status tracking
- Understanding of basic engineering and construction principles
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
- Exposure to DOE or DOD projects
- Knowledge of codes and standards such as ASME, NEC, and IBC
- Experience in construction, facility systems, or mechanical/electrical work
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Desired: 1–2 years of practical engineering or construction experience
