As a senior member of the Construction Engineering team, you’ll ensure that complex installation and maintenance projects at LANL are executed safely and precisely according to technical, regulatory, and national standards. - Work Schedule: 4/10s preferred; flexible with other shifts

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 6 years of experience, or 14 years equivalent industry experience
- Must be 100% onsite; hybrid/remote not available

Responsibilities And Duties
- Oversee field construction activities for conformance with approved drawings and codes
- Lead coordination between design engineers, field personnel, and contractors
- Mentor junior engineers and field staff in project execution and compliance
- Conduct material take-offs and ensure procurement aligns with project needs
- Propose and implement field process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety
- Advanced knowledge of construction engineering principles and field verification practices
- Strong experience resolving technical challenges during project execution
- Proficient in ASME, NEC, ACI, and other technical codes and standards
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- EIT or PE license
- Familiarity with DOE and LANL standards (Conduct of Engineering, ESM)
- Experience in nuclear, laboratory, or high-consequence environments
- Background in electrical, mechanical, or glovebox installation systems
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 6 years of experience OR 14 years of related industry experience
- Desired: Professional certification (EIT or PE)
