What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Living Sales Associate position at Community Wellness Partners?
Position Scope: Responsible for marketing, sales, recruitment and coordination of admission process for the communities of Community Wellness Partners including (skilling nursing, adult home and assisted living). Will alternate between all campuses and will be responsible for making admission decisions based on appropriateness of referral.
Responsibilities:
- Interviews families and potential residents for appropriateness of admission
- Meeting with families throughout the entire length of stay
- Represents CWP for purposes of marketing and admission coordination
- Reports to VP of Sales with any underlying areas of concerns or questions for further assessment
- Participates in community engagement
- Maintains direct contact with hospital referral and location
- Interfaces with hospitals, doctors, nursing homes, community, case managers, social workers, and discharge planners
- Attends meetings relative to admissions
- Meets with appropriate staff to assure admission compliance and discharge process
- Attends appropriate professional meetings
- Maintains confidentiality of resident/family information
- Assures admission/discrimination compliance with State and Federal Regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in marketing, business, communications or healthcare preferred. Relevant experience can substitute.
- 3 - 5 years of sales experience in marketing or business development.
- Experience in healthcare preferred.
- Knowledge base in nursing home services, rehabilitation, long term care, and senior care options preferred
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid and private insurances preferred,
- Must be knowledgeable about healthcare referral sources, physician offices, hospitals, case managers, and discharge planners as well as Office for the Aging, etc.
