SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible to the Office Manager for providing front office support.
Join the Penn State Health Medical Group – Eastbrook office as a clerical staff member! The Eastbrook team is seeking a Medical Office Associate to join the ranks. Solely practicing family medicine, the office treats 40-60 patients per day!
As the Medical Office Associate with Eastbrook, the MOA will be expected to check patients in and out of appointments, answer phone calls, verify insurance, and schedule follow-up appointments. The MOA will also be responsible for processing outside referrals, including scheduling appointments as necessary, faxing, scanning, and other miscellaneous administrative tasks. Co-pay collection is also required.
The ideal Medical Office Associate will display strong customer service and conversational skills. Knowledge of computer navigation and usage is a plus! Working as part of a team and independently will be expected in this position. Don’t wait – apply today!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
