We’re looking for a Manager of Application Services to join our team at Community Medical Group.
The Manager of Application Services will lead and oversee enterprise healthcare applications across a large, multi-clinic environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and governance of mission-critical clinical and business systems, including EHR, PACS, CRM platforms, collaboration tools, and third-party applications.
This is a hands-on leadership role that partners closely with IT, clinical, and operational leaders to support day-to-day system performance while driving long-term optimization and scalability. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, experience in healthcare applications, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5–6 years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment
- At least 2 years of experience supporting EHR/EMR or clinical documentation systems
- 2 years of people management or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and clinical systems
- Experience managing escalations, incidents, and system outages
What You'll Do:
Leadership & Strategy
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for enterprise clinical and business applications
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex application issues and outages
- Establish and enforce application governance standards, including configuration control and documentation
- Partner with IT and operational leadership to align application performance with business needs
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Application Analysts
- Set clear performance expectations and ensure accountability across the team
- Foster a collaborative and solution-oriented team environment
- Support team growth through coaching and development
Application Management & Support
- Oversee the availability, performance, and support of EHR, PACS, CRM, and other enterprise systems
- Review and approve application enhancements, workflow changes, and system configurations
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and releases with minimal disruption to operations
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
Integration & Systems Optimization
- Troubleshoot and oversee system integrations including EHR interfaces, imaging systems, CRM platforms, APIs, and third-party applications
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and vendors to resolve issues and improve system performance
- Ensure applications are optimized to support clinical and operational workflows
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure systems align with healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA and HITECH
- Maintain proper documentation, audit controls, and system governance practices
- Support data integrity, security, and regulatory requirements across all applications
