What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Surg RN - Nights position at COMMUNITY HOSPITAL - MCCOOK?
Delivers comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients, including all ages from newborn to elderly in various settings - medical-surgical, special observation unit, labor/delivery/recovery, post partum, newborn nursery, and emergency room. Utilizes the nursing process. As a team leader, effectively delegates, directs, coordinates, and supervises the delivery of comprehensive nursing care provided to patients by the nursing team. Effectively interacts with families, physicians, and other health team members. Maintains standards of nursing care/practice.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure required
- BLS preferred
- ACLS, TNCC, and PALS strongly preferred if working ER
- NRP strongly preferred if working OB
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
