What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver & Activity Support position at Community Horizons?
JOB REQUIREMENTS: A private employer in the Plover community is looking
to add a caregiver to his care team! This is not your typical caregiving
role it\'s perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy and having fun.
The adult individual you\'ll support loves being on the go and
participating in a wide range of activities, including watching NASCAR
and Monster Jam, fishing, bowling, walks in local parks, board games and
mini-golf. He\'s extremely social, enjoys spending time with friends,
and participates in adaptive sports like bowling, track, and bocce ball
throughout the year. Your role will be to support him in staying safe,
comfortable, and fully engaged in the activities he loves both at home
and out in the community. Schedule: 3pm 11pm every Tues/Wed 3pm-11pm
Every Other Fri/Sat/Sun What you\'ll be doing: Assist with safe
transfers using an overhead track lift Support G-tube feedings and
medication administration Help with bathing, grooming, and other
personal care Maintain a tidy and safe environment Actively participate
in community outings and recreational activities Encourage social
interaction and engagement What it takes: 18 or older and able to pass a
background check Valid driver\'s license and auto insurance- you\'ll be
driving our wheelchair-accessible van Outgoing, energetic, and enjoys
engaging with others Reliable, respectful, and willing to learn hands-on
skills Comfortable providing personal care Experience in caregiving is a
plus but not required, we will train the right person If you\'re someone
