Community Education is seeking dependable, energetic, and caring individuals to join our School Age Programs team. Our Youth Program Leaders work with elementary-age students in our licensed before- and after-school programs located throughout Bowling Green and Warren County.
This is a great opportunity for college students, future teachers, education majors, social work or child development students, or anyone who enjoys working with children and wants meaningful part-time work.
What You'll Do
As a Youth Program Leader, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children before and/or after the school day.
Responsibilities include:
- Actively supervise children and help maintain a safe, positive environment.
- Lead and participate in games, crafts, recreational activities, and enrichment opportunities.
- Build positive relationships with students and encourage participation.
- Use positive behavior guidance and redirection strategies.
- Work as part of a team with Site Supervisors and other program staff.
- Maintain required staff-to-child ratios and follow Kentucky child care licensing requirements.
- Assist with daily routines, including arrival, dismissal, snacks/meals, transitions, and cleanup.
- Serve as a positive and professional role model for students.
- Follow Community Education policies, procedures, and safety expectations.
- Complete required child care training and attend mandatory staff meetings.

Schedule
This is a part-time position with shifts available during before- and/or after-school hours on days school is in session.
This position can be a great fit for college students or others looking for a consistent part-time schedule that works around classes or other commitments.
Pay: $11.75 - $16.10 per hour
