Part-Time Position, Immediate Start
St. Gabriel Preschool & After School Enrichment, an early childhood education center, is currently seeking a qualified part-time Assistant Teacher/Floater. Hours are typically 9am-1pm, Monday-Friday.
Our year-round program includes a three-year-old preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Junior Kindergarten classrooms, Summer Camp and After School Enrichment for St. Gabriel School. We seek fun, creative and imaginative teachers focused on creating future leaders and problem solvers.
This position will float between different classrooms, providing breaks and support to lead and assistant teachers in creating safe and nurturing environments while fostering caring relationships with children. Responsibilities also include assisting with the implementation of daily activities and routines and helping maintain a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma/GED
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Prior Early Childhood and/or Primary classroom experience preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Flexibility
