This position plays a central role in ensuring consistency in behavior expectations, monitoring climate data, and implementing school-wide strategies to support a safe and productive learning environment.

This position plays a central role in ensuring consistency in behavior expectations, monitoring climate data, and implementing school-wide strategies to support a safe and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Behavior & Incident Management
- Oversee all behavior-related incidents and ensure accurate and timely entry of incidents, suspensions, and interventions into PowerSchool.
- Monitor and review incident reports for trends and ensure proper follow-up and documentation.
- Collaborate with administrators and support teams to ensure restorative practices and interventions are applied where appropriate.
- Coordinate and manage bus behavior, including monitoring reports, responding to infractions, and communicating with transportation staff and families as needed.
- Manage/monitor school wide leveling and system and PBIS system.
- Weekly monitoring of school-wide behavior data using Kickboard or other designated platforms; ensure staff are consistently inputting data.
- Generate regular reports to identify trends in student behavior, climate concerns, and disciplinary actions.
- Use data to guide decisions and recommend interventions or support strategies to leadership and staff.
- Maintain and manage student attendance in accordance to PA state regulations.
- Provide direct supervision and support to designated climate staff, including behavior support personnel, hall monitors, or deans.
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance evaluations with direct reports.
- Provide coaching, modeling, and ongoing training on behavior management strategies, restorative practices, and trauma-informed approaches. Community Council Learning Academy
- Adhere to all of CCHS and CCLA's policies regarding employee code of conduct.
- Provide required and needed trainings for team members (one to ones, behavior health workers)
- Responsible for onboarding of direct reports.
- Provide and or identify coverage when direct reports call out.
- Lead school-wide climate initiatives such as PBIS, school assemblies, incentive programs, and culture-building activities.
- Collaborate with staff and leadership to promote positive behavior reinforcement systems and develop a culture of accountability and respect.
- Serve as a liaison between students, families, and staff to address climate concerns proactively and constructively.
- Work closely with school counselors, social workers, and special education teams to align behavioral support with student needs.
- Communicate behavior expectations, trends, and concerns with parents/guardians as needed.
- Confidently monitor and manage the operations of the school in the absence of upper management.
- Participate in school leadership meetings and provide updates on climate and culture metrics.
- Providing support in legal meetings pertaining to students' data.
- Ensure sufficient documentation (attendance, suspensions letters, exclusion letters) is completed and provided to necessary parties when needed.
- On call for transportation issues when they arise.
- Managing transportation changes and scheduling meetings.
- Review of the student code of conduct and make necessary updates as needed.
