What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Operator position at Communication Consulting Services Inc?
Responsibility:
- Draft, document, and produce drawings with the use of AutoCAD and Revit as requested by engineers and project managers for various projects
- Install, configure, and initiate CAD software
- Manage the CAD-enabled desktop computer to ensure trouble free operation
- Ensure that all data and designs are stored securely on servers, hard drives, or the cloud
Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, architecture, computer science, CAD technologies or minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Strong working knowledge and use of AutoCAD and Revit software
- Ability to conduct research into application issues
- Self-motivated and ability to prioritize and execute tasks
- CompTIA A technical certification desired but not required
- Team player
Work Conditions:
- Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines
- Participate in training sessions, presentations, meetings
- Sitting for extended periods of time
