Your calm presence, keen observation, and clinical judgment make a meaningful difference when patients need reassurance and stability most. How You Will Make a Difference Conduct focused assessments and promptly communicate changes in patient condition to the RN or provider. Administer medications, including long-acting injectables, while performing routine treatments and safety checks with accuracy and care. Support crisis intervention through therapeutic communication, de-escalation techniques, grounding strategies, and effective milieu management. Assist with admissions, belongings searches, vital signs, lab coordination, and discharge preparation. Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation and reinforce patient and family education. Ensure continuity of care overnight through vigilant observation, proactive support, and thorough documentation. Manage after-hours admissions and urgent patient needs while preparing comprehensive handoff communication for the day team. What We’re Looking For • Current LPN license; psychiatric experience preferred. • BLS certification; CPI/PMAB or equivalent de‑escalation training (or obtained after hire). • Team‑first mindset and reliability across 12‑hour shifts.
