Nestled in the heart of Kentucky's natural beauty, Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park is seeking an environmentally conscious and skilled Water and Sewage Plant Operator II to join our dedicated team. As a guardian of our precious water resources, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our water and sewage treatment facilities.
The ideal candidate must possess a valid Class II Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator License, reflecting their expertise and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of water quality.
Key Responsibilities Include
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have two years in the operation of a water and/or sewage plant.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must have a valid Class II (or higher) water treatment operator's license and/or a Class II (or higher) wastewater operator's license as issued by the Kentucky Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet.

- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to regulatory agencies, upholding transparency and accountability
- Collaborate with other park departments to promote water conservation and implement eco-friendly practices
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, addressing any water or sewage-related concerns with professionalism and expertise
