Description
The Facilities Division is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance & Operations Technician II (MMOT II) that:
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Four years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Formal training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age.
Working Conditions
May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day.

Description
The Facilities Division is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance & Operations Technician II (MMOT II) that:
- Performs technical duties in the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems, such as HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical systems, and associated equipment.
- Performs inspections to determine maintenance needs and procedures for documentation, repair, or remediation.
- Supervises, assigns and performs work in the maintenance and operations of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and refrigeration equipment.
- Installs, repairs, maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration equipment and electrical systems.
- Inspects and maintains the working performance of equipment in accordance with applicable codes and manufacturers specifications.
- Consults with engineering personnel and contractors concerning installation and repair of mechanical equipment.
- Maintains records and inventory of parts and equipment for maintenance operations.
- Recommends changes in operations and maintenance procedures.
- Assists in snow removal at KY Air National Guard base as required.
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
