We are seeking a motivated Junior Technical Recruiter to join our remote recruiting team. While this position is fully remote, candidates located in the Midwest are strongly preferred.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive base salary plus commission on successful placements.
The Junior Technical Recruiter will support our recruiting team by sourcing, screening, interviewing, and qualifying technical candidates for client opportunities. This position is ideal for someone who has received formal recruiting training within a staffing organization and is looking to grow their career within a smaller, entrepreneurial environment.
Candidates with a minimum of six months of staffing or recruiting experience are required.
Responsibilities:
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and internal databases.
- Conduct candidate screenings and technical qualification calls.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future openings.
- Maintain accurate ATS records and recruiting activity.
- Build relationships with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Obtain referrals and generate recruiting leads.
- Partner with account managers and leadership to meet client requirements.
- Meet weekly recruiting metrics, including calls, interviews, submissions, and placements.
- Participate in ongoing recruiting and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of six months of recruiting experience within a staffing agency environment.
- Previous experience working for a structured recruiting organization is strongly preferred.
- Formal recruiting training or participation in a recruiter training program is highly desired.
- Experience using ATS systems, LinkedIn, and major job boards.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Prior IT or technical recruiting experience is preferred but not required.
- Candidates located in the Midwest are strongly preferred.
