Job Title:         Junior Recruiter

Location:        Indianapolis (5 days per week with possible weekend availability)


Position Overview

Cruitfly is seeking a Junior Recruiter to support our Workforce Specialist (Recruiter) in sourcing and building a pipeline of qualified labor talent for specialized industrial trades. This role focuses on identifying and engaging candidates who are eligible for work in asbestos abatement, demolition, scaffolding, and insulation.

The Junior Recruiter will play a key role in maintaining a strong talent pipeline by conducting outreach, screening candidates, and assisting with the application process. While this position will help facilitate documentation and onboarding steps, candidate placement, final acknowledgment, and documentation compliance remain the responsibility of the Workforce Specialist (Recruiter).

This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in recruiting, workforce development, or construction/industrial staffing.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Pipeline Development

  • Source and identify potential candidates for industrial labor roles including asbestos abatement, demolition, scaffolding, and insulation.
  • Conduct outreach through job boards, referrals, community networks, and direct candidate engagement.

  • Maintain an organized pipeline of potential workers for upcoming projects.
  • Perform initial candidate screenings to assess basic eligibility and interest.
  • Attend and or assist with planning job fairs
  • Travel may be required

Candidate Support & Administrative Assistance

  • Assist candidates with completing employment applications and onboarding paperwork.
  • Help collect and upload required documentation as directed by the Workforce Specialist.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the recruiting system or database.
  • Upload documents to ShareFile and FieldFlo
  • Assist recruiter with uploading and receiving documents from field workforce.
  • Coordinate scheduling of candidate interviews or follow-up conversations with the Workforce Specialist.

Collaboration with Workforce Specialist

  • Work directly under the direction of the Workforce Specialist (Recruiter).
  • Provide updates on pipeline activity, candidate engagement, and sourcing progress.
  • Support recruiting efforts to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates for placement.
  • Assist with sending job details and information to field workforce.

Compliance & Process Support

  • Ensure candidate documentation is properly organized and uploaded as assigned.
  • Understand basic requirements for industrial workforce roles and safety-related documentation.
  • Acknowledge that final placement decisions, candidate acknowledgments, and documentation compliance remain the responsibility of the Workforce Specialist.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable making outreach calls and engaging with candidates.
  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, document uploads).
  • Ability to work in-office five days per week (Flexible evening and weekend hours as needed)

Preferred

  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, administrative support, or construction-related industries.
  • Familiarity with workforce documentation or onboarding processes.
  • Experience using recruiting software or applicant tracking systems.
