CSAP Program Architect & Strategic Lead
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated CSAP Program Architect & Strategic Lead to design, launch, and operationalize a Cyber Security Advocate Program (CSAP).
This consultant will serve as the primary architect and strategic driver of a security ambassador framework, responsible for leading the program from concept through implementation and stabilization. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and program management skills, capable of driving adoption across multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
This is a project-based engagement focused on establishing a sustainable cybersecurity awareness and advocacy program that can be successfully transitioned to internal staff upon completion.
Key Responsibilities
Program Lifecycle Management
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and execution of the Cyber Security Advocate Program (CSAP).
- Establish project plans, timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
- Identify and remove obstacles to program adoption and participation.
- Ensure project objectives are achieved within the established six-month timeline.
Stakeholder Engagement & Recruitment
- Conduct proactive outreach and engagement activities.
- Recruit, onboard, and support Security Champions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Foster engagement and participation throughout the program lifecycle.
Training & Content Deployment
- Manage the rollout of cybersecurity awareness and ambassador training materials.
- Ensure training content is engaging, accessible, and effectively utilized.
- Develop strategies that drive positive security behaviors across the organization.
Communication & Feedback Management
- Establish ongoing communication channels between ambassadors and security leadership.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate program feedback.
- Recommend and implement program improvements based on stakeholder input.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track program participation, engagement, and effectiveness.
- Monitor ambassador activity and recommend corrective actions when engagement declines.
- Prepare executive-level reports and program updates.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in project and security program meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align program initiatives with cybersecurity objectives and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Exceptional ability to translate technical cybersecurity concepts into engaging content for non-technical audiences.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience developing training, awareness, employee engagement, or organizational change management programs.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and proactively drive initiatives to completion.
Preferred Qualifications
The following certifications are valued but not required:
- ISC Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
- CompTIA Security
- CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA )
Work Environment
This position follows a hybrid work model and requires periodic onsite attendance in Los Angeles, California. Candidates should be comfortable working with diverse stakeholder groups and participating in both virtual and in-person meetings.
Additional Requirements
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Candidates must successfully pass all required background screening processes prior to beginning work.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the contract.
