Job Summary:
CommandTec, LLC has a requirement for a Business Analyst – Journeyman supporting a federal government customer. The Business Analyst – Journeyman supports the analysis, documentation, and validation of business and technical requirements for enterprise systems and applications. This position works closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational needs. The Business Analyst contributes to requirements development and process improvement efforts while applying knowledge of Agile methodologies, system implementation, and enterprise operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business and system requirements
- Develop user stories, workflows, and business process documentation
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and requirements workshops
- Support Agile development lifecycle activities including sprint planning and backlog refinement
- Assist with backlog grooming and prioritization activities
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements
- Validate system functionality against requirements
- Support user acceptance testing and validation activities
- Document system changes and enhancements
- Assist in change management and requirements tracking
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and testers
- Support CI/CD and DevOps processes as applicable
- Maintain requirements traceability and documentation
- Assist in system implementation and deployment activities
- Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned
