Role Description The Mechanical Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL, responsible for overseeing mechanical and plumbing projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates project schedules, manages budgets and procurement, and ensures alignment with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Day-to-day activities include leading project meetings, collaborating with field supervisors and subcontractors, reviewing drawings and submittals, and resolving technical and logistical issues. The Mechanical Project Manager tracks progress, prepares reports, supports accurate invoicing, and maintains clear communication with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Building Services and Mechanical Engineering to oversee HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems effectively.
• Experience in Plumbing systems, including design coordination, installation oversight, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Proficiency in Procurement and Budgeting to manage materials, subcontractors, cost controls, and financial performance of projects.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including scheduling, risk management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building codes; familiarity with construction management software is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a people-first approach to working with customers and team members.
• Relevant education such as a degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience in mechanical contracting is also valued.
• Prior experience managing commercial mechanical or plumbing projects, preferably within the HVAC or building services sector.
