Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel management or guest services is preferred.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting and record keeping.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while adhering to hospitality standards.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms are prepared for arrivals.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering calls and responding to guest requests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or resort front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hospitality management practices and night audit procedures is an advantage.
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in using multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
