Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Carry out floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Follow proper procedures for handling chemicals and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of responsibility.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and custodial practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
