Duties

• Operate commercial laundry machines to wash, dry, and process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established standards.
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal care and prevent damage.
• Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or special items using appropriate solvents and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including folding and stacking clean linens for storage or distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels of linens and supplies; notify management when stock needs replenishing.
• Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling, machine operation, and workplace sanitation to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed to support overall hotel cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Adhere strictly to quality standards, ensuring all laundry items are returned in pristine condition.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment operation and cleaning chemicals is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good physical stamina; able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive motions comfortably.
• Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
