Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and assisting with food preparation and service. Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and standards, including food presentation and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Assist with food setup, replenishment, and presentation to ensure a smooth breakfast service
- Greet guests warmly, manage guest inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
- Buss tables promptly and efficiently to maintain a tidy dining environment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with general cleaning duties in the breakfast area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred; kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking, or buffet setup is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours; weekend availability is a plus
- Friendly demeanor with strong guest relations skills; previous host/host or catering experience is beneficial
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light cleaning duties as required
