In-Home Caregiver

Comfort Keepers is seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers to provide personalized, non-medical care and assistance to clients in their homes in Granbury, Weatherford, and nearby communities.

In this role, you will help clients with daily activities, provide companionship, and support their ability to remain comfortable and independent in their own homes. Available schedules depend on client needs and caregiver availability.

Pay and Benefits

• Hourly pay of $15.50–$17.00, based on experience and qualifications.
• Additional $1.50 per hour for eligible weekend shifts.
• Paid orientation and ongoing training.

Qualifications

Applicants should have the following qualifications:

• Previous professional caregiving experience; one year of experience is preferred.
• CNA certification is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• The ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds when necessary.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A dependable, patient, and professional approach to client care.

Responsibilities

Caregiver responsibilities may include:

• Assisting clients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in appropriate activities.
• Preparing meals and providing medication reminders in accordance with the care plan.
• Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and other routine household tasks.
• Helping clients with mobility and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Providing transportation to appointments or assisting with errands when required.
• Observing and reporting changes in clients’ conditions or care needs.
Following individualized care plans and established company procedures.
