Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Manage housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and concerns promptly.
- Assist with floor care, including carpet cleaning and maintenance of hard surface floors.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial roles is preferred.
- Experience working in a hotel or similar environment is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment usage is essential.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning and maintenance.
