We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas following established protocols
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other common spaces
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while respecting guest privacy and comfort
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as industrial or deep-cleaning tasks when required
Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and walking throughout the property
- Prior housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not mandatory
