Core Guest Room Duties
- Bed Making & Linen: Strip used bedding, remake beds with fresh sheets and pillowcases, and replace used towels and bathrobes.
- Sanitation: Disinfect and scrub bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, and sinks.
- General Cleaning: Dust furniture, wipe down surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean mirrors and windows.
- Amenity Restocking: Refill toiletries, soap, coffee, tea, and replenish items like notepads or glasses.
- Waste Management: Empty trash bins, replace liners, and remove any discarded room service trays.
- Final Touches: Adjust room temperature, align room amenities, draw curtains, and complete a final quality assurance check.
Summary
As a Housekeeping professional, you will ensure a pristine and welcoming environment for guests by performing residential and hotel-related cleaning tasks. Reporting to the housekeeping or hotel operations supervisor, you will execute cleaning, sanitation, laundry, and room preparation duties to high standards. Your core skills in cleaning, floor care, sanitation, and customer service will drive guest comfort and satisfaction, while premium skills in cooking may support housekeeping-related hospitality needs. Your experience in janitorial, hotel housekeeping, and custodial roles will contribute to efficient room turnover, linen management, and overall property cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or residential cleaning, including room cleaning and bed making
- Proficient in cleaning, sanitation, floor care, and stock replenishment
- Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to respond to guest requests
- Ability to perform janitorial tasks, laundry, and basic housekeeping management duties
- Familiarity with hotel procedures: linen replacement, room supply stocking, trash removal, and bathroom cleaning
- Willingness to perform additional duties in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safety standards
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
