What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at Comfort Inn?
- These shifts will be weekends only.
- Greeting guests: Welcoming guests as they arrive and providing a friendly, conversational greeting
- Handling reservations: Taking reservations over the phone and entering them into the hotel's system
- Check-in and check-out: Handling guest check-in and check-out in an efficient and accurate manner
- Providing customer service: Responding to guest needs and concerns, and providing excellent customer service
- Handling guest issues: Addressing guest complaints and problems, and working to exceed guest expectations
- Providing information: Answering questions about hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
- Operating the phone: Answering phone calls and emails
- Filing documents: Filing important documents and keeping them organized
Front desk agents should have excellent communication skills, be able to handle stressful situations, and have a warm and welcoming demeanor.
