Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying reservations, billing, and payments to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Respond promptly to guest needs and concerns, providing exceptional customer service that enhances guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Handle multi-line phone system with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and courteously
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to support daily operations and future audits
- Assist with guest relations by providing local information, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations preferred but not necessary
- Some background in night audit procedures and front desk operations within a resort or hotel environment preferred but not necessary
- Multilingual abilities (bilingual skills) are a significant advantage for engaging with diverse guests effectively
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and resolving concerns professionally
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette standards in a hospitality setting
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems is beneficial but not mandatory
