What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor/Front Desk Clerk position at Comfort Inn?
We are looking for a night owl that can provide excellent customer service to our guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly. The open position will be two consecutive overnights (midnight - 8am). (16 hours total)
The Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. The Night Auditor also balances accounts from the day shift and helps with laundry and the breakfast set up.
Experience is appreciated but not required. Training will take place during day shift hours and then change to your hired shift times.
Responsibilities
- Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
- Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
- Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
- Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
- Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
- Help prepare for forecasts and audits
