Breakfast Attendant/Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Breakfast Attendant/Housekeeper. This dual-role position is key to delivering a high-quality guest experience through both exceptional morning service and attentive housekeeping. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting breakfast items, assisting guests during service hours, and ensuring all dining and common areas are clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the role includes maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and shared spaces, upholding high standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the property. A commitment to detail, efficiency, and a welcoming attitude are essential in contributing to a positive and memorable stay for all our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including arranging food items and beverages for guest service.
• Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including bussing tables and cleaning up spills promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
• Ensure timely replenishment of food items throughout the breakfast service.
• Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitized.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to management.
• Execute floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, and polishing as required.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and other facilities.
• Assist in laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hotel environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to help others are essential traits for this role.
• Proficient in custodial practices with a strong understanding of housekeeping management techniques.
• Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment operation is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
