Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Morning/Afternoon Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their designated locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe vehicle. The Shuttle Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all passengers. This position is Monday-Friday 5:30AM-1:30PM.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as handling any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the shuttle vehicle, performing regular inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Ensure timely transportation of passengers to their destinations, following designated routes and schedules.
- Keep accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during transportation.
- Comply with safety protocols, including the use of seat belts and other safety equipment.
- Assist with cleaning duties (dusting, vacuuming, trash, etc.) when not operating shuttle.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Van Driver, Shuttle Driver, or in similar roles such as Delivery Driver or School Bus Driving.
- Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type operated.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with passengers of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure while ensuring passenger safety at all times.
- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and routes efficiently.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to company policies regarding safety and vehicle maintenance.
