We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. Duties
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures.
- Ensure that all items are cleaned according to quality standards, including handling delicate fabrics and dry cleaning as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including knowledge of fabric care labels and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks.
