Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency, teamwork, and quality service
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, laundry areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols
- Work alongside the supervisor to manage staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimize team productivity
- Help oversee inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed
- Enforce safety procedures and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff
- Support the management team in implementing new cleaning techniques and hospitality standards
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or janitorial services within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and custodial practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests at all levels
- Prior hospitality or hotel experience is highly preferred; a background in hospitality management is a plus
