Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination.
• Conduct floor cleaning and floor care activities such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Handle manual lifting of furniture, supplies, or heavy items safely while following proper handling protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, appliances, windows, mirrors, and fixtures to ensure a spotless appearance.
• Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Use cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines for janitorial or custodial tasks.
• Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes.
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary to ensure the exterior areas are tidy and well-maintained.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; hotel or janitorial experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards and surface care techniques.
• Familiarity with a variety of cleaning detergents and equipment used in residential housekeeping or custodial work.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents.
• Experience with carpet cleaning, floor maintenance, dusting, and outdoor work is advantageous.
• Demonstrated reliability and attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple spaces.
