Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle laundry duties such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels efficiently and safely.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by properly handling chemical agents in accordance with hotel safety procedures.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and ensuring all surfaces are spotless and safe for guests and staff.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly when needed, ensuring guest safety at all times.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and maintenance requests to support hotel housekeeping management.

Experience

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong customer service skills help create a positive experience for guests through friendly interactions and professional service.
